The Township Clerk's Office accepts vital statistics applications and requests for certified records Monday through Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm. (Marriage Applications will not be taken after 4:00 p.m. due to the time involved). You may obtain Certified Copies of Vital Records for events that occurred in Egg Harbor Township by submitting the following form to the Township Clerk's office Request for Vital Records.
Marriage/Civil Union Ceremony Information
By completing and submitting the following request form, we will check the availability of the Mayor, Deputy Mayor or Judge to perform your Marriage or Civil Union Ceremony. This does not confirm that they will perform your ceremony. You will receive a response via email or telephone confirming availability. Due to spam filters, etc. there is a chance we may not receive your request. Therefore, if you do not receive a reply within a day or two, please call.
Mayor/Deputy Mayor Ceremony: Effective November 1, 2013 fees are as follows:
- Residents of Egg Harbor Township - $150
- Nonresidents of Egg Harbor Township - $175
- Ceremony outside of Egg Harbor Township - $200
- Active Military - $125
-Above fees include a $25 administrative fee. Fee must be paid to the Township of Egg Harbor prior to the ceremony being performed. If you have any questions, contact the Mayor's Office at 609-926-4088.
Judge Ceremony: The Judge does not charge a fee but availability is limited to Mondays and Fridays around 12:00 pm and Thursdays around 4:00 pm with ceremonies only performed at Town Hall. If you have any questions, contact the Court at 609-926-4195.
A ceremony license must be obtained through your local registrar prior to the ceremony. For all ceremonies 2 witnesses are required.
